BTC is basic training certificate which is meant to improve the quality of education in India. It is a regular course which has duration of 2 years. The minimum eligibility criteria is graduation with percentage as per NCTE norms. Admissions are done only through counseling by DIET. The quality of the education system plays a major role in the development of the country as it builds up the human resource of the future. But the sustenance of a vibrant educational system depends to a large extent on the quality of teaching at the elementary level.
